Upload from Isolated Storage

Is there any example showing how to upload files from Isolated Storage?

No, that's not a scenario the Silverlight Multi File Uploader supports out of the box.

But it's not hard to make. Just replace the FilePicker that selects files from the user's disk, with your own code to select a file from memory/isolated storage.

The real question in that case is if one can upload from a memorystream I guess and if so, whether the upload file dialog can display a (virtual) filename you pass as metadata to that upload action (it will end up as that file on the server, but on the client it doesn't exist as a real file or the app can't see it as such but only as a memory stream [either from memory - say from some audio recording source - or from isolated storage stream])

btw, had found some useful links on isolated storage:

https://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=3794&lngWId=10 but one would need to adapt to Silverlight and have to check the source download for the license

Also http://forums.silverlight.net/t/201362.aspx/1 looks useful, shows how to copy files from local file system to isolated storage and vice-versa using the OS filedialog

but the nice guys at the relevant HSS Interlink project (http://interlink.codeplex.com) also pointed me to an SL tree-style explorer demo for Isolated Storage that would be helpful:
