Add to solution

Hi, I have problems to add control to my solution in my silverlight page.
I have:

put the contron in vs toolbox
add all mpost dll referenced by sample project in my project

I have deleted the class and resource UserMessages and put static text in content property of controls

When I drag and drop control in my design window i receive the error object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Same error if I add new page to original sample project and try to add page control.

What is wrong?

Thanks a lot, Andrea

You should not put the Silverlight control in the VS Toolbox.

Just compile your control, this will result in an XAP file. Copy this XAP file to the solution where you need it and use HTML to include the XAP on a page.

Thanks for quick reply,
I need to add control to a silverlight page. How to do it? It's possible?
Thank you very much!

The control is not made for hosting itself inside another Silverlight application. It's possible, but you'll have to do it completely yourself.
